Today was such a special day with our book signing! Jade was absolutely adorable as he practiced his cursive signing. We had a fun chat about his name, Jade; he likes to pretend to be different celebrities. He even playfully asked some folks if he could sign as his alias, Ricky, which made everyone smile! At first, he was a little quiet and cautious, soaking everything in. But soon enough, he opened up and started chatting with everyone—some of his DS friends were there too, and he was having a fantastic time! When I playfully told him, “Hey bud, I need you to sign another book,” he cheekily replied, “I’m busy!” It was just the sweetest moment to see him enjoying himself so much. We also made new friends today, which we truly appreciate, and it’s always a wonderful gift to reconnect with our old friends, too!
