This is the story of a Downs Syndrome boy who wasn’t supposed to live. Any parent of a Special Needs child will appreciate the drama, the stress, the amazing breakthroughs, and the astonishing joy that your child can bring.
Dyan Colacurcio is a mother of six, grandmother of twenty-two, and dedicated advocate for her Downs Syndrome son, Jade Gabriel Colacurcio, for the last 23 years. She is passionate about the Special Needs Community and reaching out to those hurting and in need, both here and abroad. She has traveled extensively to South Africa, where she helped establish a Community Center for the Ndebele people in Kwaggafontein. In her spare time, haha, she enjoys traveling with her husband and best friend of 40 years, Frank Colacurico.
